In order to be considered, you must be already based in the Dubai. Key Responsibilities

• Managing commercial lines team - Operations and Client Servicing.
• Supervising the day to day operations of the department covering all aspects of brokerage services for Commercial Lines department.
• Developing relationship and liaising with all our insurance providers regularly and keeping our relationship with them at a professional high based on ethical and strong business practices.
• Being the main point of contact between our sales advisors and the insurers and helping them resolve all issues relating to post sales service, policy management, policy issuance renewal management & claims support etc.
• Renewal of the existing portfolio, review of insurable risks and exposures, marketing and tendering of the insurance requirements at renewal, ensuring renewal process is completed within the timelines.
• Quarterly performance review of our key clients with the insurers and sales advisors by suggesting ways and means to control the claims utilization and providing them with in depth analysis of their policies.
• Meeting our key clients along with advisors quarterly or as in as when required by the client to establish deeper relationship
• Preparing weekly and Monthly MIS for business performance of the commercial lines business

Required Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in business or commerce from a reputed university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an insurance underwriter in Commercial Lines.
• Good comprehension of insurance plans including fire, life, property, medical etc.
• Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
• Goal-oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Communicate with customers and third parties in a clear, concise and professional way.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
• Graduate (pref.: Business Management, Commerce)
