Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and licensed

Unani Medicine Hijama/Cupping Therapy Practitioner

to join our multidisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will provide

therapeutic wet and dry cupping treatments

based on Unani medicine principles, ensuring safe, hygienic, and patient-centered care while complying with UAE Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform

Hijama (Cupping Therapy)

procedures--including wet, dry, and massage cupping--according to

Unani medicine guidelines

and individual patient needs. Conduct

patient assessments

, review medical histories, and develop treatment plans integrating

Unani therapeutic approaches

. Educate patients on the

principles of Unani medicine

, benefits of Hijama therapy, and relevant lifestyle recommendations. Maintain strict

infection-control protocols

, ensuring proper sterilization and safe disposal of equipment. Provide clear

pre- and post-treatment instructions

to patients and monitor their progress. Keep accurate

medical records

and documentation in line with MOH/DOH standards. Work collaboratively with other physicians, physiotherapists, and healthcare providers to support

integrative patient care

. Participate in

community awareness programs, patient education sessions, and staff training initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

MOH UAE License or Eligibility

as a

Unani Medicine Practitioner (Hijama/Cupping Therapy)

Mandatory*.(DHA Transferable License is accepted)
Degree/Diploma in

Unani Medicine

from a recognized institution, with certification in

Unani Medicine Practitioner and or

Hijama/Cupping Therapy

. Minimum

1-2 years of clinical experience

in Unani medicine and cupping therapy within a medical or wellness facility. Strong knowledge of

Unani principles or

Hijama/Cupping Therapy

, patient safety, and infection-control standards. Excellent communication skills,

Arabic preferred

, English is essential.
