UI/UX Lead

Role Purpose

Owns the full UI/UX function across digital products, ensuring user-centred design, heuristic quality, accessibility, and alignment with business needs. Produces hands-on UX design deliverables and oversees design work delivered internally or by external partners--without managing a design team.

Key Responsibilities

Own the UI/UX strategy, design direction, and experience standards across platforms. Conduct persona mapping, user research, journey mapping, task analysis, and behavioural insights. heuristic design principles across screens, workflows, and interactions. Produce wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and interaction designs using Figma. Maintain design systems, UI pattern libraries, and reusable component guidelines. Conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and design evaluations. Collaborate with Product, BA, Development, QA, and OutSystems teams on feasibility and delivery alignment. Review, evaluate, and validate design outputs from external partners or vendors.

Technical & Design Competencies

Expert-level hands-on Figma experience. Strong heuristic evaluation, accessibility, and information architecture skills. Proficiency in interaction design, layout systems, and mobile-first design. Experience with personas, behavioural insights, and journey mapping. Familiarity with analytics and heatmap tools to support data-driven design. Understanding of HTML/CSS fundamentals for effective collaboration with developers.

Strong storytelling, visual communication, and presentation skills. Ability to balance user needs with business and technical constraints. High ownership mindset and accountability. Excellent collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and cross-team communication. Ability to communicate effectively in

Arabic

is preferred to support business and client needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, UX Design, or a related discipline. 7+ years of UI/UX experience, preferably in enterprise digital product environments. Proven portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX capabilities and design outcomes. Experience working in agile delivery environments. Candidates fluent in Arabic are preferred to support business and client communication requirements.
