Role & responsibilities

Position: UI/UX Designer (OutSystems) Location: Muscat, Oman Contract: 2 Year (Extendable based on performance) Salary: OMR 500 to 750 per month (Inclusive of all allowances) Visa: Company Provided Tickets: Initial and Exit Tickets Provided Annual Leave: 30 Days Annual Leave Ticket: Included in Salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop user interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders. Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to refine designs and improve the overall user experience. Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and seamless integration into the application architecture. Ensure consistent branding, style guidelines, and design principles are followed across all digital platforms. Optimize designs for responsiveness and accessibility to cater to diverse devices and user demographics. Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge designs. Document design processes, decisions, and standards to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS AND LOW-CODE CERTIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Technology, or a related field. At least 3-5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms. Experience working with low-code platforms like OutSystems, Mendix, or Microsoft Power Platform (preferred). Relevant certifications in UI/UX design, such as Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or OutSystems UI Developer Certification (optional but advantageous).

SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND BEHAVIORS: Strong creative and problem-solving skills to design user-friendly, innovative interfaces. Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics, ensuring visually appealing designs. Effective communication skills to present design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Solid understanding of user-centric design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards. Proficiency in prototyping, wireframing, and interactive design to create engaging and functional user experiences. Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple projects to meet deadlines. Adaptability to work in dynamic and agile environments, incorporating stakeholder feedback iteratively. Respect for privacy and confidentiality, particularly when working with user data during research and testing phases.
