Core UI/UX Designer Requirements

Design System Expertise

Strong understanding of clean, scalable design systems (e.g., component libraries, style guides, design tokens).

Ability to create and maintain consistent visual hierarchies, typography, color palettes, and UI patterns.

Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Framer for design system management.

User-Centred Design (UCD)

Proficiency in user research, personas, journey mapping, and usability testing.

Ability to translate user needs into intuitive, minimalist interfaces.

Visual & Interaction Design

Mastery of visual design principles (layout, spacing, contrast).

Experience designing micro-interactions, animations, and responsive layouts.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.

Experience Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in UI/UX design (portfolio showcasing clean, functional designs).

Experience working on complex projects with cross-functional teams (developers, PMs, stakeholders).

Cross-Platform Design

Experience designing for web, mobile, and/or desktop applications.

Familiarity with responsive design and adaptive UI principles.

Agile/Development Collaboration

Experience working within Agile/Scrum workflows.

Logo & Branding Design

Proven ability to conceptualize and execute creative, impactful logo designs.

Understanding of branding principles and visual identity systems.

Experience creating comprehensive brand guidelines.

Adobe Photoshop & Graphic Design

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop for creating high-quality visual assets.

Skilled in graphic manipulation, image editing, and photo retouching.

Capable of producing visually appealing marketing assets, banners, and promotional graphics.

Soft Skills

Problem-Solving: Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Adaptability: Willingness to iterate based on feedback from developers or stakeholders.
