Overview:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Part-Time Design Developer to join our team for a new and exciting project. This role requires a blend of design expertise and technical development skills to deliver high-quality UI/UX for both a website and a mobile app using Flutter. You will be working closely with our project manager and development team to bring visually stunning and user-friendly experiences to life.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX Design:

Create engaging, user-centric designs for a website and mobile app based on project requirements and user research.

Flutter Development:

Implement the designs into functional, responsive layouts using Flutter, ensuring smooth and seamless user experiences across devices.

Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript):

Implement designs into functional, responsive, and accessible websites using modern web standards to ensure seamless user experiences across devices and browsers

Collaboration:

Work with the development team to integrate designs into the app and website, ensuring a consistent design language throughout the project.

Prototyping and Wireframing:

Develop interactive prototypes and wireframes to illustrate design concepts and flow.

Testing and Iteration:

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine the designs based on user feedback and performance analytics.

Cross-Platform Consistency:

Ensure designs are optimized and responsive across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web) and screen sizes.

Maintain Design Systems:

Create and maintain reusable components and design systems to streamline the development process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

UI/UX Design Expertise:

Strong portfolio showcasing your experience with user-centered design principles, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

Flutter Development:

Experience with Flutter and Dart, specifically in creating responsive mobile apps and websites.

Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript):

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript in building responsive, accessible websites and web apps across devices and browsers

Proficiency in Design Tools:

Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Responsive Design Knowledge:

Ability to design for multiple screen sizes and ensure a responsive, adaptive UI.

Understanding of Web and Mobile Development:

Familiarity with front-end development technologies and how design fits within development frameworks.

Creative Problem-Solving:

Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs.

Attention to Detail:

Strong eye for design consistency and pixel-perfect UI elements.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with both design and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with agile development processes. Knowledge of animation and motion design principles. Understanding of SEO and web accessibility standards.
