UI/UX Design Skills: - UI/UX Design: Lead design efforts for web and mobile applications, from wireframes and prototypes to final visual design. - User Research & Testing: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and perform usability testing to understand user needs and pain points. - Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts effectively. - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Developers, and Marketing) to ensure designs are aligned with business goals, technical constraints, and user needs. - Figma Mastery: Design in Figma, utilizing its features such as components, design systems, prototyping, and collaboration tools to produce high-quality assets and design deliverables. - Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across products. - UI Design: Create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, paying attention to typography, color theory, spacing, and layout. - Responsive Design: Ensure that all designs are responsive and optimized for various screen sizes, devices, and platforms. - Iterative Design Process: Continuously iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results. - Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing design projects. - Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design (experience with Figma Plugins and advanced features is a plus). - Experience with other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision is a plus. - Strong understanding of design principles, usability, and best practices for web and mobile platforms. - Experience with user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Blockchain-Specific Skills: - User Onboarding in Blockchain Knowledge of the unique challenges of onboarding users into blockchain applications (e.g., wallet setup, transaction signing, private key management) and designing experiences that simplify these processes. - Wallet and Key Management UI Familiarity with designing user-friendly interfaces for managing wallets, private keys, and seed phrases while considering user security and privacy. - Transaction Flows Understanding of blockchain transaction flows (e.g., gas fees, transaction confirmations) and designing clear and transparent UI to manage user expectations. - Decentralized Applications (Apps) UI Experience designing interfaces for Apps, including handling interactions with smart contracts and blockchain data in a seamless way for users. - Token Economy Design Experience in designing user interfaces for token interactions, such as managing token balances, trading, staking, and governance participation. - Security Best Practices Awareness of security considerations in blockchain UIs, such as preventing phishing, safe wallet integration, and educating users on security risks.



Requirements

Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of design-to-development handoff processes is a plus. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Attention to detail and a passion for creating elegant, user-centered designs. - Experience in agile environments and familiarity with tools like Jira or Trello is beneficial. Research and Usability Testing: - User Research Proficiency in conducting user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs. - Blockchain Usability Challenges Understanding of common usability challenges in blockchain (e.g., transaction complexity, wallet interactions) and experience in solving them. - A/B Testing and Analytics Experience with A/B testing and using analytics to validate design choices and optimize user experiences. - Understanding of user psychology and behavior. Soft Skills: - Communication Strong ability to communicate design ideas, justify design decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Problem-Solving Ability to simplify complex blockchain processes and make them more accessible to users through intuitive design. - Empathy for Users Deep empathy for users, particularly those unfamiliar with blockchain, and a desire to create frictionless user experiences.
