Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated UAV Engineer to join our technical team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, integration, testing, and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems. The role demands hands-on experience in UAV platforms, avionics, electronics, and systems integration, as well as a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and flight safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and integrate UAV platforms (rotary and/or fixed-wing). Conduct system architecture development including payload integration, autopilot systems, telemetry, and communication. Perform testing, calibration, and validation of flight systems (hardware and software). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and aerospace engineers. Analyze flight data, diagnose performance issues, and implement design improvements. Develop technical documentation, schematics, and user manuals. Support flight operations teams with technical troubleshooting and system configuration. Ensure compliance with GCAA regulations and internal quality standards. Stay updated with emerging UAV technologies and propose enhancements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in UAV design, development, or system integration. Familiarity with autopilot systems (e.g., Pixhawk, Ardupilot, DJI, or proprietary). Experience in CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and circuit design. Strong understanding of avionics, control systems, propulsion, and telemetry. Programming knowledge (Python, C++, MATLAB, or ROS) is a plus. GCAA/UAV certification or familiarity with UAE aviation standards preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
