About Our Client

Multinational oil and gas firm with regional offices in Dubai.

• Collaborate with experienced engineers to assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment for oil and gas projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure the integrity and efficiency of mechanical designs.
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and reports.
• Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to cost estimation for new projects or modifications to existing systems.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to assess equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Support maintenance activities by troubleshooting mechanical issues, proposing solutions, and assisting with equipment repairs or replacements.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in mechanical engineering for the oil and gas sector.

The Successful Applicant

• UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
• Proficiency in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME, API, ANSI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
