Job Description
As a Geologist, you will play a critical role in assessing geological formations, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to support the exploration and production activities. . - Conduct geological studies, including mapping, rock analysis, and core sample examination, to understand subsurface geology and identify potential hydrocarbon reservoirs.
- Analyze and interpret geological data, including well logs, seismic data, and geological surveys, to assess reservoir properties and predict reservoir behavior.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and drilling engineers, to integrate geological findings into exploration and production plans.
- Assist in the planning and execution of fieldwork, such as well-site visits, geological surveys, and data collection.
- Utilize geological software and tools to create accurate geological models and maps.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in geology and exploration techniques.
- UAE National with Family Book (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Geology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of geological principles, sedimentology, stratigraphy, and structural geology.
- Familiarity with geological software and tools, such as Petrel, GeoGraphix, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar is a plus.
