Sia is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Outreach & Engagement Intern to support our team in executing targeted outreach strategies. The role involves engaging potential partners, candidates, or participants through calls, emails, and other communication channels, as well as maintaining accurate records of all interactions. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in business development, communications, and relationship management.
Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Assist in developing and executing the outreach strategy to connect with targeted individuals and organizations.
  • Conduct cold calls and send targeted emails to potential candidates or partners.
  • Draft and design professional outreach templates, email formats, and related communication materials.
  • Follow up with leads, inquiries, and responses to ensure timely engagement.
  • Register and log all outreach activities, contacts, and responses in a centralized registry/database.
  • Research potential contacts, leads, and relevant opportunities to expand outreach efforts.
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular updates on outreach progress.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other materials for outreach activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and a coordinated approach.
  • Perform other related administrative and outreach support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and initiating contact with new people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to design appealing outreach templates.
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language business-level proficiency preferred
