Job Description

A boutique, high performing consultancy firm performing in EMEA region and focused on maximizing Value Creation for PE owned portfolio companies are looking to hire its first regional CEO to represent its interests and run operations in the Middle East.Successful hire will be:

- The trusted advisor / the right-hand to an award-winning Founder and Group Managing Director

- Accountable for designing and executing the business and Go-to-Market strategies and

priorities positioning the consulting firm in the region

- The Business Development Lead and front-facing focal point for regional Private Equity Firms, Investment Funds, Family Offices and other private equity investors and sovereign funds

- The implementer of key strategic projects & initiatives, designer & implementer of corporate processes, policies & procedures aimed at setting up & supporting the firm's growth in the ME

- The P&L owner with accountabilities for profitable growth, market expansion, timely & accurate financial reporting, submissions to the regulatory and tax authorities, liaising with corporate reporting advisors, legal advisors, auditors and regulating entities as may be required

- He / she will regularly represent the Founder in both internal and external meetings in the UAE and, subsequently in the Middle East

- The leader/instigator/implementer of new service and product launches, service offerings and digital products/services as required by market demand (the list is not exhaustive)

- Leading voice in topical regional forums, conferences, events & publications

- The person responsible for hiring, promotion and downsizing recommendations for the firm

- A focal part of investment committee meetings & identify risks within the business / implement change to reduce exposure.

- This will be one of the most visible and highly autonomous roles within the firm, reporting directly to the Founder.

For what is a senior level role in the firm, candidates should ideally be working for, or have previously worked for, a leading Investment Management Firm or Management Consulting Firm, and he/she will also have a background in 'markets' (more specifically a strong grasp of Private Equity or Alternative Investments more broadly). We could consider alternative profiles if candidates are incredibly smart, driven and have established front office and delivery functions focused experience working for a Private Equity Fund, an Investment Management Firm or Top Tier Investment Bank(s). Regional work experience, connections and/or presence in the region would be welcome.

Experienced candidates must also have top tier academic profiles and ideally additional qualifications, such as an MBA or CFA.

The position will be based in the UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi, depending on the preference), with local and regional business travel commitments required from time to time.

Pay: From AED10,000.00 per month
