Two (2) Adjunct Faculty Positions in Chemistry School of Arts and Sciences American University of Ras Al Khaimah

The School of Arts and Sciences at American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) invites applications for adjunct faculty positions in Chemistry for Spring 2023. We welcome candidates whose teaching employs high-impact teaching practices to promote active learning by students. Candidates must be prepared to teach classes required by the degree plans in Engineering and Arts and Sciences programs, as well as some general education electives. Prior successful teaching experience at the university level employing high-impact educational practices and experience in working effectively with globally diverse student populations are expected.
Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. degree in the area of specialization from an accredited institution of higher education

• University teaching experience

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills

• Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices

• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines
