Works 6 times a week for every day 12hrs. ? she will be their mother's eyes e.g. makes sure the kids are monitored example no bad behavior, makes sure they watch & hear appropriate things e.g. no horror movies, Limit iPad time eat their vegetables etc. ? In order to secure the safety of elders and children in the family, villa staff are restricted to venture out of villa premise, unless it is authorized by the employer. Offer will include medical insurance, 30 days leave per year, return ticket to home country. A High-profile Family in Sultanate of Oman seeks an experienced/ qualified Tutor / Governess to work in their Private Villa in Muscat to improve the boy's education (2 boys - age 7&8 years), confidence, behavior and self-care. The governess should be a fluent speaker of Arabic & English, a degree-educated qualified teacher able to engage and inspire the children, and to gain their trust and respect. Teaching knowledge in other languages will be an added advantage. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following are the key responsibilities: ? The role of the Tutor / governess is to improve the boy's education, confidence, behavior and self-care. ? Organize a monthly calendar for the boys. ? During the schooldays, to drop & pick up the boys from school & stay with them until they have completed their dinner. Self-driving is preferred however not mandatory. ? During the weekends organize a study time, activity time and play dates. ? Plan ahead their studies & activities during the break time not with the boys. ? Make sure is in touch with their school and their extracurricular activities. ? The boys attend the local international school. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with the ability to liaise with school teachers to keep up to date with the curriculum. ? Their school follows an international curriculum; Outside of school, the governess should be a firm but fair role model with the ability to engage and encourage the boys in their daily lives. ? When the boys return to school, the governess should be able to create benchmarks and targets to motivate the boys in their learning. ? In addition, she should be able to tutor them in the subjects in which they may need extra help. ? Help and encourage the children to reach their full academic potential. ? The boys enjoy tennis, swimming and football. They are very active and have a lot of energy. ? The ideal candidate will be a behavioral role model and in charge of organizing extracurricular activities such as sports, music and arts & crafts. ? The house is fully staffed and food is provided but the family would like the governess to educate the children about healthy eating and lifestyle. ? Help the boys with language development and social manners. ? Excellent behavior & etiquette should also be encouraged to help the boys prepare for adulthood. ?
