Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for the successful commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols.

WORK ACTIVITIES:

• Developing and implementing turnover procedures, checklists, and documentation requirements;
• Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and commissioning teams to coordinate the commissioning activities and ensure alignment with the project schedule and objectives;
• Monitoring progress and address any deviations from the commissioning plan;
• Supervising the verification and functional testing of all systems, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems, to validate their performance and reliability;
• Conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with design and performance criteria;
• Overseeing the identification of deficiencies, discrepancies, and non-conformities during the turnover process;
• Generating comprehensive turnover documentation, including turnover packages, as-built drawings, test records, and operating manuals;
• Providing regular updates on turnover progress, highlighting any challenges or critical issues to project management;
• Interfacing with client and suppliers during the turnover phase, facilitating walkthroughs, inspections, and acceptance procedures;
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the turnover process.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering;
• 15+ years of experience during Commissioning & Start-up phase of Combined Cycle Power Plants.

OTHER DETAILS:

• Location: Sharjah, UAE;
• Contract duration: 6 months;
• Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
• Starting date: ASAP 2023.
