About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced

Tunnels Specialist

to join our team and provide expert technical leadership across major tunneling projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of tunnel design and construction, with hands-on experience in both

Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)

and

Sequential Excavation Method (SEM)

techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the planning, design, and delivery of tunneling works for major infrastructure projects. Provide expert input on TBM and SEM construction methodologies, risk management, and constructability. Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and construction documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success. Ensure all tunneling activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot complex engineering challenges and provide strategic technical guidance.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 15 years of experience

delivering tunneling projects of a similar nature. Extensive experience with

TBM

and

SEM

tunneling construction methods.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

or equivalent qualification.

Professional engineering accreditation

(CEng, MICE, or equivalent).

Preferred Attributes

Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and underground construction risks. Ability to communicate clearly and lead technical discussions with clients and project teams. Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects safely and efficiently.

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
