Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to support our transportation operations in Sharjah Al Sajaa on a temporary basis for a 2-month contract, with potential for extension based on performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of goods across designated routes within the UAE. This role is critical to maintaining our logistics chain, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding strict safety and compliance standards. The successful applicant will operate heavy vehicles with precision, adhere to traffic regulations, and maintain accurate delivery records. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role requiring flexibility, punctuality, and a strong commitment to safety and service excellence.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, delivery vans) for the transportation of goods within Sharjah and surrounding areas.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and compliance with safety standards.

• Load and secure cargo according to weight distribution and safety guidelines.

• Adhere to all UAE traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.

• Maintain accurate logs of trips, delivery times, and vehicle conditions.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams to report delays, route changes, or vehicle issues.

• Work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as required by operational demands.

• Ensure all documentation (delivery notes, manifests, permits) is completed and submitted accurately.

• Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance tasks.

• Respond promptly to urgent delivery requests and adapt to changing schedules.

Requirements
Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle License (Class 2 or higher) with no major traffic violations.

• 1-3 years of proven experience as a truck driver in the transportation or logistics sector.

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads (up to 25 kg) and standing for extended periods.

• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

• Ability to join immediately and work on a temporary basis for a minimum of 2 months.

• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and reliability.

• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions independently.

• Willingness to obtain and maintain a UAE work permit and health insurance.

• Nationality: Open to candidates from any country.
