Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation & Maintenance
Drive
heavy-duty trucks
(usually 3-10 tons) carrying large quantities of bottled water.
Inspect vehicle condition daily (tires, brakes, lights, coolant, etc.).
Ensure proper
loading and securing
of bottles to prevent damage or spillage.
Report any vehicle faults immediately and follow maintenance schedules.
Delivery & Distribution
Deliver water bottles to
assigned customers or delivery points
on schedule.
Unload bottles manually (can be 18-20 kg per bottle) using trolley if required.
Collect
empty bottles (returns)
from customers.
Get customer
signatures or digital confirmations
for deliveries.
Customer Interaction
Be polite and professional with clients.
Handle basic customer inquiries or complaints, and report any major issues to the office.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate delivery logs, fuel usage, and trip sheets.
Collect
cash or delivery receipts
as per company policy.
Submit all paperwork to the supervisor or office at the end of the shift.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all
traffic rules
and
safety guidelines
.
Wear proper
PPE (safety shoes, gloves, etc.)
when handling bottles.
Follow
loading/unloading protocols
and lifting practices to avoid injury.
Basic Requirements:
Valid
UAE Heavy Vehicle License (No. 4 or 5)
Good physical fitness (ability to lift heavy bottles)
Basic knowledge of English or Arabic
Knowledge of UAE roads and routes (GPS is often used)
Responsible and punctual
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
