Clever Metal Industries LLC is a leading provider of high-quality steel products in the UAE. We are seeking an experienced and reliable

Truck Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver

to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting steel products and materials safely and efficiently between our manufacturing facility and various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Transport Steel Products:

Safely drive company heavy vehicles to deliver steel products, including finished goods, to designated locations across the UAE.

Load and Unload:

Ensure proper loading and unloading of steel products, using appropriate equipment and adhering to safety protocols.

Route Planning:

Plan and follow the scheduled route assigned by the Logistics and Dispatch Officer, considering traffic conditions and road closures for timely deliveries.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or required repairs to the Logistics and Dispatch Officer.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of driving logs and deliveries, including delivery notes, invoices, and obtain necessary signatures.

Safety Compliance:

Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Maintain a clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or violations.

Customer Service:

Provide courteous, professional service to clients during deliveries.

Communication:

Stay in regular contact with the Logistics and Dispatch Officer regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

Valid UAE Driving License:

Possess a valid UAE heavy truck driving license

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years as a

Truck Driver / Heavy Vehicle Driver

, preferably in the steel manufacturing or construction industry.

Knowledge:

Familiarity with UAE road network, safety standards, and steel product handling. Experience with GPS and route planning.

Skills:

Strong driving ability, heavy-duty vehicle handling, and attention to detail.

Physical Fitness:

Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job, including loading/unloading and prolonged driving. Good vision and hearing are essential.

Working Hours:

Trips are assigned daily depending on delivery destinations.

Short-distance trips

usually allow return to the base by evening.

Long-distance trips

(e.g., Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, or Oman) may require early departure and late return.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:

AED 1,600 - 3,000 per month (based on experience ).

Long-Distance Allowances:

Additional pay provided for extended trips.
