Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 3-tonne truck driver to join with minimum 2-years experience . The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a 3-tonne truck to deliver and collect goods from customers, suppliers, or internal locations. Inspect the vehicle daily for mechanical items and safety issues, and perform preventative maintenance. Load and unload cargo ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Ensure accurate documentation including delivery notes, receipts, and logs are completed. Follow assigned routes and time schedules. Communicate with dispatch or operations for updates and instructions. Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the truck. Adhere to road safety regulations and company driving policies. Report any incidents, accidents, or delays to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
Valid driving license for light or medium commercial vehicle (3-tonne). Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably operating 3-tonne vehicles. Familiarity with local roads and delivery routes. Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads when needed. Strong time management and communication skills. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance is a plus. Must have a clean driving record.
