Our client, a reputable investment fund in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join their investment team. As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the investment activities of the fund, ensuring the implementation of effective investment strategies, and optimizing investment performance while managing risks.

Responsibilities:

- Lead investments into fixed income, structured products and hedge funds
- Develop, monitor, and update the investment strategy for the fund, conducting periodic analysis and addressing variances as necessary
- Formulate and review the investment policy, ensuring its alignment with the fund\'s objectives and market trends
- Manage, monitor, and rebalance the fund\'s investment portfolio, with a focus on fixed income instruments, funds, and deposits, while effectively managing associated risks
- Engage in foreign exchange transactions and proactively monitor the fund\'s exposure to foreign currencies.
- Manage the fund\'s liquidity requirements, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet project payments, and sourcing liquidity through money market instruments
- Conduct cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and manage the fund\'s nostro accounts
- Serve as a member of the investment committee, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance investment decision-making processes

Requirements:

- Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA is a must
- The ideal candidate should possess at least 10+ years of relevant experience as a Portfolio Manager or similar role
- Extensive experience as a Portfolio Manager or in a similar investment management role within a Treasury Function/Fixed Income desk
- Proven track record of successfully managing investment portfolios, with a focus on fixed income instruments and alternative investments
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to perform in-depth market analysis and investment evaluations
- Sound knowledge of investment strategies, risk management techniques, and financial markets
- Familiarity with structured products, hedge funds, and foreign exchange transactions
- Proficient in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
