Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group is seeking a highly skilled Treasury Manager - Corporate Finance to support the Group's strategic financial initiatives across funding, corporate finance, and capital structuring. The role involves executing Group-level projects such as mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and investment analysis. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior treasury leadership to optimize liquidity, manage corporate funding, and enhance overall financial performance across the Group's diverse business divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and new investment projects in coordination with the Corporate Development Unit and divisional teams.
  • Conduct financial and valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow (DCF) and leveraged buyout (LBO) modeling.
  • Review business plans and feasibility studies to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with financial objectives.
  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for the Group Investment Committee (GIC).
  • Guide divisions in developing robust financial models and recommend optimal capital structures.
  • Analyze funding requirements and provide strategic recommendations for debt, equity, or intercompany financing.
  • Produce and maintain complex financial models reflecting Group performance and potential investment outcomes.
  • Monitor and coordinate intercompany funding arrangements, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing and documentation standards.
  • Review cash positions across divisions to ensure efficient liquidity management and proper dividend distribution.
  • Perform market research and benchmarking to establish financial performance indicators and credit rating parameters.
Ideal Profile
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Law; CFA, CPA, or Chartered Accountant qualification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, or investment banking.
  • Proficient in financial modeling using advanced Excel and VBA.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg, SAP, and other financial data platforms.
  • Solid understanding of capital structuring, accounting principles, and valuation methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
