We are hiring Travel Trade Executive for a client's diverse group of businesses based in Scotland and Dubai.

This role sits within an international tourism group operating across Scotland and global markets. It suits a candidate who is confident on the phone, disciplined in follow-up and motivated by building long-term trade relationships rather than quick wins.

This role is hosted in the UAE and is in place to cover a maternity leave position based in the UK. The contract may be made permanent for candidates who perform exceptionally during the contract period.

The Travel Trade Executive is a commercially focused role responsible for developing and managing relationships with international travel agents specialising in group travel, with the objective of driving group visits and tour parties to company in Scotland. Based in Dubai, the role involves proactive outbound contact by email and telephone across multiple international markets. The position supports and complements existing travel trade structures and is focused on consistent, professional relationship-building rather than short-term transactional sales. This role is office-based and reports into the Commercial Manager.

Key Responsibilities



Proactively contact international travel agents by email and telephone Develop new travel trade relationships across the Middle East, North America, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom Manage a mixture of new agent acquisition, reactivation of dormant agents and ongoing account management Promote the company as a group travel and touring destination within Scotland Work with agents to position the company within wider Scotland itineraries Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations and follow-up Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product, availability and messaging Support the long-term development of the group's international travel trade network

Performance and Progression



Sales targets and performance expectations will be discussed at interview Exceptional performance is defined as consistent acquisition of new travel trade customers Strong performers may be considered for a permanent role at the end of the contract period

Skills and Experience



Experience in travel trade, tourism sales or group travel preferred Confidence communicating professionally by email and telephone Comfortable engaging with international partners across multiple time zones Organised, reliable and commercially aware Able to work independently within a structured reporting environment Clear written and spoken English
