The Travel & Tourism Office Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of a travel and tourism office, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality customer service, and business growth. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating with travel partners, handling bookings, and maintaining financial and administrative records.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the office operations of the travel & tourism agency.
Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service.
Handle client inquiries, reservations, and tour bookings.
Build and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
Develop travel packages and promote tourism services.
Monitor office budgets, sales targets, and financial performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies and tourism regulations.
Resolve customer complaints and provide professional support.
Prepare sales and performance reports for management.
Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality management.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of travel booking systems (GDS, Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.)
Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
Multilingual skills are a plus.
Work Environment:
Office-based with regular interaction with clients, suppliers, and travel partners.
May require occasional travel for business meetings, site visits, or tourism promotions.
