We are looking for a customer-oriented Travel Consultant to join our IIQAF team. As a Travel Consultant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service. You should be driven to build effective resourcing strategies, employing best practice tools.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on trip-planning including destination selection, transportation, accommodation, and leisure activities.
Arrange flights, insurance, car rentals, and other travel services.
Combine various elements of travel packages to meet customer needs.
Research different destinations and means of travel regarding prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
Address customers\xe2\x80\x99 queries, both in person and by phone, email, and live online chat.
Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally.
Maintain updated knowledge of travel management software.
Track seasonal trends in the travel industry.
Assess customer needs, provide consultation services, and offer suitable travel packages for individual or groups traveling.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Travel Consultant.
Good knowledge of travel management software, such as Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, Travelport, etc.
Tech-savvy with excellent MS Office Skills.
Money-Management and record keeping skills.
Genuine interest in the travel industry, destinations, and cultures.
Great listening and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Excellent presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
