Job Description
IIQAF is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is knowledgeable about travel planning, confident in their customer service abilities, and ready to go above and beyond in order to provide amazing travel experiences. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for helping travellers plan and book their perfect holidays.

- Consult with customers in order to understand their travel needs and preferences
- Suggest suitable travel packages, based on the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs and budget
- Collect customers\xe2\x80\x99 personal information and demographic data in order to provide accurate booking details
- Research available airfares, accommodations, and special activities at the requested destination
- Prepare client profiles and assist them in selecting appropriate travel experiences
- Prepare itineraries, book flights, hotels, rental cars, and activities
- Handle customer inquiries regarding travel packages, services and/or booking requests
- Provide helpful advice in regards to flight times, jetlag, dress code, health concerns etc.
- Ensure all required documents such as passports, visas, tickets, and travel insurance are collected prior to travel
- Respond quickly to emails and phone messages from clients
- Monitor clients\xe2\x80\x99 trips to ensure that everything runs smoothly
- Proven work experience as a Travel Consultant
- In-depth knowledge of travel destinations, routes, and modes of transport
- GREAT attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Good knowledge of computer reservations systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work-flow
- Professional appearance and communication
- Working knowledge of the travel industry and the latest trends
- High school diploma
