We are looking for an energetic travel consultant to join our team and fuel the dreams of our customers while providing superior customer service. Our ideal candidate is passionate about travel and has a high aptitude for making our customers\xe2\x80\x99 dreams a reality.
As a Travel Consultant, you will play a key role in handling the planning and booking of clients\xe2\x80\x99 travel arrangements. You will collaborate with customers creating personalized trips while ensuring their best experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to research and recommend destinations, plan itineraries and travel routes, and inform customers about local destinations, customs, cultures, and norms. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and remain organized in order to meet tight deadlines are importantly required.
Responsibilities:
As a Travel Consultant, you will play a key role in handling the planning and booking of clients\xe2\x80\x99 travel arrangements. Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding and booking vacations, business trips and other services
- Analyze customer preferences and suggest suitable destination and options
- Plan and book itineraries and accommodations
- Calculate costs of travel packages, including transportation, accommodations, and other fees
- Advise customers on passport and visa requirements, health and insurance issues
- Resolve customer complaints in timely and diplomatic fashion
- Provide helpful information to customers and contact providers regarding special offers, discounts, and changes.
- Seek feedback from customers regarding their experiences
- Maintain records of bookings, payments, etc.
- Proven experience as a travel consultant
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in MS Office
- Knowledge of airline, hotel, tour, and car rental procedures
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
