Job Summary: Looking for a Travel Agent in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Conduct comprehensive research on various destinations, including local attractions, visa requirements, climate, cultural considerations etc
• Create customized travel itineraries that meet client preferences, ensuring a balance between sightseeing, leisure activities and relaxation
• Arrange transportation, accommodations, tours as well as other travel services according to client preferences and budget
• Communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, requirements and budget constraints
• Plan details for travel including transportation, accommodation and airlines
• Work with clients to determine their traveling needs
• Provide personalized recommendations and expert advice on travel destinations, attractions, accommodations, transportation as well as travel insurance options
• Manage large-scale events including conferences and retreats
• Book transportation and hotel reservations on behalf of clients
• Process payments and issue travel documents such as tickets etc
• Undertake any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience working as a travel agent or in a similar role required
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations, attractions as well as travel-related services
• Proficiency in using travel booking systems, online travel platforms and office software is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Must have strong problem-solving abilities to address travel-related issues and create alternative solutions
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
