Job Description
: Transportation & Traffic Management Director Abu Dhabi, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Transportation & Traffic Management Director to join our team! What You\'ll Be Doing:
- Manage and direct transportation studies for road infrastructure improvement projects such corridor improvement projects.
- Develop traffic diversions for complex road infrastructure projects during design and construction stages,
- Prepare transportation master plans/traffic impact studies for new developments including data collection and analysis;
- BS in civil engineering or related discipline; MS in transportation planning\\traffic engineering or related discipline highly desirable
- Minimum 20 years experience in the conduct of transportation studies, transportation master plans, and traffic impact studies
- Expert-level knowledge in the use of travel demand modeling and operational traffic engineering analysis using standard packages (e.g. VISUM, CUBE SYNCHRO, HCS, VISSIM)
- Demonstrable experience in the development/analysis of traffic diversion/ temporary traffic management plans for complex road improvement projects
- Experience in evaluation of improvement projects using economic /benefit- cost analysis desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience including managing multidisciplinary teams
