Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and passionate Transportation Assistant to join our team. This position requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills to support our logistics operations. As our Transportation Assistant, you will be responsible for a number of tasks, including coordinating long-haul truck trips, assigning drivers, recording mileage, updating truck information, and offering quality customer service to our clients.

- Coordinate long-haul truck trips according to appropriate load carriers, routes, and delivery times
- Assign and allocate trucks to different locations
- Monitor truck availability and performance
- Record truck mileage and maintenance regularly
- Monitor truck and driver staffing needs in various territories
- Follow up with customers to ensure all deliveries are made on time and with quality standards
- Provide superior customer service to clients
- Responsible for customer updates on delivery orders including scheduling changes
- Update truck information in database
- Coordinate activities related to vehicle maintenance and repairs, such as scheduling regular maintenance checks, oil changes, etc.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Logistics, Business Management, or related field
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in transportation/delivery management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must be able to travel when necessary
- Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and clean driving record
