The Transport Pricing & Tariff Executive is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive customer quotations, managing tender submissions, and maintaining up-to-date transport tariffs. The role ensures pricing accuracy, profitability, and customer satisfaction through timely coordination and effective communication with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Quotations & Tenders
Prepare and issue transport quotations based on customer inquiries, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability
Analyze transport costs, routes, and vehicle types to prepare the most efficient and cost-effective pricing structure.
Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders, RFQs, and rate proposals within the required deadlines.
Maintain and update a database of pricing records, tariffs, and historical quotations for reference and analysis.
Review customer requirements to ensure all terms, conditions, and service expectations are clearly understood before finalizing the quotation.
Work closely with operations and finance teams to verify costs and ensure all pricing elements reflect actual service expenses.
2. Customer Coordination
Communicate directly with customers to clarify pricing inquiries, service requirements, and quotation details.
Provide timely responses to client requests, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in all correspondence.
Follow up with customers on submitted quotations and tenders to secure business opportunities.
Coordinate with the operations team to confirm capacity availability, delivery timelines, and feasibility before finalizing rates.
Support the management team with reports and analysis related to pricing trends, customer profitability, and market competition.
