highly organized and proactive Transport Supervisor
to manage and coordinate our daily transportation operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of glass shipments while supervising a team of drivers and working closely with the Sales and Shipping departments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and schedule daily transport operations and driver activities.
Monitor fleet utilization and optimize vehicle routing.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.
Maintain accurate records: delivery logs, vehicle usage, incidents, etc.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for seamless dispatches across our Abu Dhabi & Dubai factories.
Oversee routine vehicle maintenance, inspections, and service schedules.
Address and resolve transportation-related issues efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience in a transport/logistics supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of UAE transportation laws and safety regulations.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (especially
ORACLE
) and MS Office.
Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
