Translator (Exclusively for UAE nationals with good language skills)

Review all translated documents with the highest language quality in both English and Arabic.

Read original material and rewrite in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.

Use specialist dictionaries, thesauruses and reference books to find the closest equivalents for the terminology and words used.

Proofread and edit final translated versions.

Provide GMC clients with a grammatical, well-expressed final version of the translated text, usually as a word processed document.

Assist with translation and production work.

Print and reproduce contract material.

Perform oral translation functions.

Support other members of the training support department in fulfilling their roles.

Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.

Perform other duties as required by their manager or Director, Technical Training School.

Bachelor degree required Master degree preferred, or Equivalent years of Experiences in same field

A minimum of four to five years of translation experience is required.

The ability to work unsupervised and take initiate, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines is preferred

Experience in report writing is required.

A good eye for detail, the ability to ensure quality control, efficiency, integrity and discretion is an advantage.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Software is required including knowledge of word processing, database handling and record keeping.

Fluent in Arabic and English, both in writing and verbally is required.

Have or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver\'s license.
