Now we are establishing our new office in Dubai, which is supposed to become our HQ, and are looking for Translator/Business Assistant to become a part of our dream team! The candidate should be based in Dubai. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participate on the meetings/calls as translator.
Understand the context and meaning the material.
Convert the material into the second language while preserving the original meaning.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and other colleagues to understand technical texts.
Translate material accurately.
Translate different documents, including literary, technical, scientific, legal, research, educational, and commercial materials.
Hold miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, for example, conducting research, making summary of the meeting, etc.
Go for business trips.
Requirements:
Perfect command of target and source languages.
Extensive knowledge of the culture and society of the country in which the source language is spoken.
Knowledge of translation techniques.
Communication skills.
Precision and reliability.
Flexibility and adaptability.
Tact and diplomacy.
A knowledge of standard software packages (MS Office) and the ability to learn company-specific software if required.
