Experience: Minimum 2 years in Ready Mix Concrete driving is mandatory.
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Transit Mixer Drivers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of ready-mix concrete from our batching plants to various construction sites. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining vehicle integrity, and upholding our reputation for reliability and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Operation & Driving: Operate a transit mixer truck in a safe, efficient, and professional manner in accordance with all local traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations (including UAE Road & Transport Authority standards).
• Concrete Delivery & Management: Transport ready-mix concrete to assigned construction sites as per delivery schedules. Ensure correct concrete mix and quantity is delivered as specified on the delivery docket.
• On-Site Coordination: Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, foremen, and plant dispatchers. Follow on-site instructions for pouring location and procedures.
• Drum Management: Control the rotation of the mixer drum to maintain the specified consistency of the concrete during transit and discharge. Ensure complete and clean discharge of the load.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections (checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, lights, drum, etc.). Report any mechanical defects, accidents, or damage immediately to the maintenance team and supervisor.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all required paperwork, including delivery dockets, trip sheets, fuel logs, and maintenance reports.
• Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain a clean cab interior and ensure the exterior of the truck is washed down after each delivery to prevent concrete buildup.
• Customer Service: Represent RMB Ready Mix professionally at all times. Communicate courteously with clients and site personnel.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (License no. 4 or 6 for Transit Mixer) is essential.
• Proven Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically driving a Ready-Mix Concrete Transit Mixer Truck. Experience in the UAE/GCC region is a strong advantage.
• Language Skills: Basic English and Hindi communication skills are required for understanding instructions, safety briefings, and interacting with dispatchers, supervisors, and site teams.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of vehicle mechanics, concrete handling, and road safety practices.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job (e.g., coupling/uncoupling trailers, climbing ladders, handling hoses, working in outdoor weather conditions).
• Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with the road networks in Abu Dhabi (Musaffah), Dubai, and surrounding areas.
• Knowledge of RTA/DOT regulations for heavy goods vehicles.
• Strong time management and punctuality.
