Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Group is seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to support its Emiratization initiatives under Orient Insurance PJSC. The role focuses on identifying skill gaps, designing tailored training programs, and providing ongoing development for Emirati employees to enhance their knowledge, performance, and career progression. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements among Emirati employees.
  • Design and deliver induction programs to onboard new Emirati hires effectively.
  • Develop and implement training modules on insurance products, underwriting, and claims handling.
  • Deliver soft skills and customer service training, including communication, client interaction, and telephone etiquette.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to support Emirati staff in career growth and performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with training partners and agencies to design customized learning programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using performance metrics, participant feedback, and business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation for compliance and internal reporting.
  • Develop engaging learning content and presentations aligned with company standards and objectives.
  • Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and professional development across departments.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in training and development, including at least 3 years in a training delivery role.
  • Experience in the insurance sector, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver effective insurance sales and customer service training programs.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess learning needs and measure impact.
  • Familiarity with Emiratization strategies and workforce localization programs is an advantage.
