Job Title: Trainer - Gold & Jewellery Industry

Department: Training & Development Industry: Gold & Jewellery (Retail / Wholesale / Manufacturing) Reporting To: HR Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trainer with strong expertise in the gold and Jewellery industry. The candidate will be responsible for training sales, production, and operational staff on Jewellery knowledge, quality standards, customer handling, and company procedures to enhance overall performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct training sessions on gold, diamond, and Jewellery product knowledge Train staff on purity, karat, weight calculations, making charges, and wastage Educate employees on hallmarking, certification, and quality control standards Provide customer service and sales training specific to Jewellery retail/wholesale Train staff on Jewellery handling, storage, security, and loss prevention Develop training materials, SOPs, and assessment modules Evaluate staff performance and identify training gaps Conduct refresher and onboarding training programs Coordinate with HR and Operations for training schedules Ensure training compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in the gold and Jewellery industry (minimum 5-10 years preferred) Prior experience as a Trainer, Supervisor, or Senior Sales/Production professional Strong technical knowledge of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and Jewellery processes Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to train staff at different skill levels Strong organizational and documentation skills

Education & Experience

Diploma / Bachelor's degree (preferred) Industry certifications in Jewellery or gemology (advantage)

Preferred Skills

Experience in UAE Jewellery market and compliance standards Multilingual (English, Hindi, Arabic preferred) Experience in retail, wholesale, and manufacturing environments
