Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Trainer for Table Setting and Dining Etiquette to conduct practical training sessions for students pursuing careers in hospitality and food & beverage service. The trainer will equip students with the skills needed to perform professional table setups and service in fine dining, casual, and event environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured training on various types of table settings: A la carte, Buffet, Banquet, Fine dining, and Casual dining
Teach proper placement of cutlery, crockery, glassware, linens, and centerpieces.
Instruct students on dining etiquette, napkin folding, and guest service protocols.
Demonstrate and train in the handling of tableware and serving techniques.
Maintain training props, materials, and classroom setup.
Design assessments and provide feedback on students' performance.
Keep up-to-date with current hospitality trends and standards.
Ensure health, hygiene, and safety practices are followed during sessions.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in table service or F&B operations in hotels or restaurants.
Prior teaching/training experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of international dining etiquette and service standards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willing to work in the evening and or weekends
