Floristry Trainer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.

This role involves delivering both theoretical and practical lessons, conducting live demonstrations, and mentoring aspiring florists.

Responsibilities :

Deliver both theoretical and practical floristry lessons, covering key areas such as flower arrangement techniques, color theory, floral design for various events (weddings, corporate events, etc.), and business practices within the floristry industry. Conduct live demonstrations to showcase key floristry techniques, providing students with the opportunity to observe and learn step-by-step. Develop and continuously update course materials to align with the latest trends and best practices in floristry. Assess students' progress regularly through hands-on assignments and written evaluations, offering constructive feedback to help them improve. Teach and emphasize best practices for flower care, safety, hygiene, and professionalism in the floristry industry. Stay current with emerging floristry trends, materials, and tools, incorporating the latest innovations into your teaching methods. Offer career guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their development and confidence in the floristry profession.

Qualifications :

A minimum of

5 years of professional floristry experience

, with a portfolio demonstrating your expertise in floral design across various styles and events. A certification or diploma in Floristry, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred. Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable, with the ability to effectively communicate and inspire students. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously. A passion for floristry, creativity, and the development of future professionals in the field.
