Job PurposeTo observe and gain knowledge of how to carry out the correct method of repair and maintenance of VW vehicles. To assist in the repairs, routine maintenance and diagnostic work on VW vehicles as per written instructions or as directed by the Team Leader. To attend all relevant training as required.AccountabilitiesVehicle Servicing1. Carry out work on vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s procedures, under supervision from Master Technician/Foreman.2. Ensure all work carried out is completed accurately and to the customers satisfaction.3. Report on any additional work required to Master Technician/Foreman to gain customer approval prior to any additional work being carried out.4. Accurately complete job cards, including any written descriptions of faults found and repairs completed.Warranty5. Identify any work required that is covered by the warranty process, ensure all documentation is complete, coordinate with warranty department.Operational6. Maintain workshop housekeeping standards at all times including the use of special and personal tools.7. Comply with the company\xe2\x80\x99s working practices and procedures; ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.8. Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.Personal Development9.
