DUTIES AND RESONPONSIBILITIES:
Market Analysis
: Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities for category growth and improvement within the distribution sector.
Assortment Planning
: Assist in developing and maintaining an optimal product assortment that aligns with market demands and company objectives.
Supplier Relations
: Support the management of relationships with suppliers, including negotiating terms, resolving issues, and coordinating product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
Inventory Management
: Help monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and turnover, minimizing excess and stock outs.
Pricing and Promotions
: Aid in planning and executing pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive category performance and meet business goals.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margin, and inventory turnover. Prepare regular reports for the Category Manager.
Process Improvement
: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance category management efficiency and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
: Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless category execution and alignment with overall business strategy.
Administrative Support
: Provide administrative support to the Category Manager, including data entry, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, MBA in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Sales, Marketing, bachelor's with 2 years of market experience or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, notable problem-solving skills. Strong multicultural awareness; thorough strategic understanding of customers and other value chain loyalty program

Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
