A Snapshot of your Day

Siemens Energy are looking for a motivated, and driven individual to join our field service team. You will be trained to perform complex and technically demanding work on-site, in a specialized area of field Service focusing on Steam Turbines and Generators. This work will be based in the Middle East region but can also involve global travel. This is a great opportunity for someone that has a passion for engineering to learn important new skills on critical oil and gas equipment.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Perform complex, specialized tasks on turbine and/or generator equipment during new installation, overhaul, repair, or modification projects in accordance with Siemens work procedures.
• Complete documentation for all installations, inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures conducted.
• Perform complex service calls and interface with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
• Perform assessment of equipment condition and apply repairs or improvement measures based on best corrective measures.
• Participate in responding to complex service calls.

What You Bring

• Degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field. Work experience in an oil and gas or similar engineering industry is an advantage.
• A motivated hands-on individual keen to learn new skills
• A strong desire to work in the oil and gas industry
• Advanced knowledge of English, written and spoken. Knowledge of German, Hindi, and/or Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to work abroad
• Willingness to do shift work
• Frequent travelling will be required
