Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor / Logistics Manager
Job Purpose:
Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods between warehouses, retail outlets, and distribution centers while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and company policies. Support warehouse operations by handling trailers and assisting with loading/unloading when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company trailers safely within UAE for the delivery and collection of goods.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to warehouses, stores, and distribution centers.
Assist warehouse staff with loading and unloading trailers when required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trailers and report any mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant logs.
Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety policies.
Coordinate with warehouse supervisors, logistics team, and dispatchers regarding schedules and deliveries.
Ensure goods are transported without damage and in compliance with company standards.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned trailer.
Requirements:
Valid UAE driving license suitable for trailer/heavy vehicles.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience driving trailers or heavy vehicles.
Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
Good communication skills; ability to work with warehouse and logistics teams.
Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks if required.
