We are seeking a responsible and experienced Trailer Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently across designated routes in Dubai and the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license and a solid understanding of road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate trailer trucks to transport cargo to and from specified locations.
Ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods as per schedules.
Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Load and unload cargo using proper safety procedures.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and inspection reports.
Adhere strictly to UAE traffic laws and company safety policies.
Communicate with dispatchers and clients to report delays or issues.
Report vehicle defects, accidents, or violations immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
Follow GPS and route maps to optimize fuel efficiency and timely delivery.
Requirements:
Valid UAE driving license for heavy vehicles (Category 4).
Minimum 2-5 years of trailer driving experience in the UAE or GCC.
Knowledge of UAE roads, traffic rules, and delivery procedures.
Ability to lift and move heavy loads if required.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
Flexible to work long hours, night shifts, or weekends if needed.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems for minor troubleshooting is preferred.
