We are looking for a Traffic Signal Technicians, who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing traffic signals and related equipment to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic. This role requires technical expertise in electrical systems, communication networks, and traffic control devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain & troubleshoot traffic signal systems.
Hands-on work with Australian traffic signal controllers (RMS, Tyco, etc.).
Configure and diagnose SCATS systems.
Detect and repair controller faults, replace components.
Perform signal calibration & testing.
Loop detector installation, pole wiring & cabinet terminations.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and signal layouts.
Follow Qatar/GCC traffic safety standards.
Requirements:
3-5 years of proven experience in traffic signal installation & maintenance.
Strong knowledge of SCATS and Australian signal controllers.
Skilled in electrical cable termination and signal testing.
Familiar with GCC traffic infrastructure & safety codes.
Ability to work independently or in a team.
GCC driving license is a plus.
