Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Traffic Flow Consultant
to analyze, design, and optimize traffic systems. The ideal candidate will provide actionable insights and solutions to improve traffic efficiency, safety, and overall flow in urban and suburban areas.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct traffic studies and data analysis to assess flow, congestion, and safety issues. Develop and implement traffic management strategies, signal timing plans, and roadway improvements. Model and simulate traffic scenarios using industry-standard software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro, Aimsun). Provide expert recommendations for urban planning, roadway design, and traffic operations. Collaborate with municipal authorities, engineers, and stakeholders on traffic improvement projects. Prepare clear, concise reports, presentations, and visualizations for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field. Proven experience in traffic analysis, modeling, and consultancy. Proficiency with traffic simulation and analysis software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of local traffic regulations and standards is an advantage.
