About the role

CRI Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced L2 and L3 RTA approved Traffic Engineers & Transport Planners to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert traffic engineering and transport planning services to our diverse portfolio of clients. Based in our Dubai office, you will play a key role in shaping the future of urban mobility in the region.

What you'll be doing

Conducting traffic impact assessments and studies to identify current and future transportation needs Developing and implementing traffic management plans and strategies to optimize the flow of vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists Designing and modeling transportation infrastructure, such as roads, intersections, and public transit systems Collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure transportation projects align with urban planning and development goals Providing expert analysis and recommendations to clients on a range of transportation-related issues Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in traffic engineering and transport planning

What we're looking for

RTA Approved L2 or L3 A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or masters transportation planning A minimum of 8 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning Proficiency in traffic modelling and simulation software, such as Visum, CUBE VISSIM, Sydra, HCS, or Synchro Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide practical solutions Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Familiarity with local and regional transportation regulations and policies A passion for sustainable urban mobility and a commitment to improving the quality of life for communities
