Position Overview



We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trading Procurement Specialist with a strong background in advertising, events, exhibitions, and gifts and promotions. The ideal candidate will also have solid expertise in logistics management to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes. This role is pivotal in managing vendor relationships, ensuring cost-efficient procurement, and supporting the seamless execution of projects across these domains.

Key Responsibilities



1. Procurement Management

- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for advertising, events, exhibitions, and promotional gifts.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best deals without compromising quality.

- Maintain strong vendor relationships and conduct periodic performance reviews.

2. Logistics Coordination

- Manage the end-to-end logistics process, including import/export, customs clearance, and transportation.

- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet project deadlines.

- Optimize delivery schedules and routes to minimize costs and delays.

3. Project Support

- Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.

- Ensure materials and services procured meet the quality and specifications required for events and exhibitions.

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.

4. Cost Management

- Prepare budgets for procurement activities and track expenditures to ensure cost efficiency.

- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality or deadlines.

5. Compliance and Documentation

- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and legal regulations.

- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.

- Oversee documentation for customs and logistics processes to ensure compliance.

6. Market Research

- Stay updated on market trends, emerging vendors, and innovative products relevant to advertising, events, and promotions.

- Benchmark pricing and procurement practices to ensure competitiveness.

Key Skills and Competencies



Strong knowledge of procurement and logistics processes, including international shipping and customs procedures.
Expertise in sourcing materials and services for advertising, events, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement with a focus on advertising, events, and promotions.
Proven experience in logistics management and understanding of customs regulations.
Certification in Procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) or Logistics (e.g., CLTD) is a plus.
