Management:
? Manage the effective achievement of Trade Marketing objectives through setting objectives, analyzing performance, developing and motivating distributor staff, provision of formal and informal feedback.
?
Budgets and Plans:
? Prepare and recommend the Sales & Trade Marketing budget and monitor financial performance versus approved AOP. Identify area of low performance / higher potential and suggest alternative & improved plans as part of monthly S&OP process.
?

Policies, Systems, Processes, & Procedures:
? Recommend improvements to Trade Marketing policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of Trade Marketing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
?
Day-To-Day Operations:
? Supervises the day-to-day operations of Trade Marketing to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures.
? Support KAM to ensure all Distributor agreements are renewed by the start of the year by presenting previous year's results and current year sales plan to customers & negotiate the agreement to gain customer commitment.
? Carry out quarterly business review with KAM & distributors by presenting previous quarterly sales results, seeking EPOS data from customers and updating the current plan to ensure distributors/customers are on track to achieve the yearly IMS targets.
? Plan monthly promotional/trade activities with KAM by recommending promotional agreements forms with customers to ensure promotions are activated on a regular basis.
? Implement marketing activities in each channel by discussing with brand team volume, visibility, timing and price and any other support needed, splitting volumes by territory, channel, customer and by category to ensure SOM & profitability objectives are met.
? Monitor quarterly price index / monthly promo index & recommend adjustments to maximize volume vs margin output.
? Carry out monthly visits to distributors/stores in different territories to ensure smooth execution of promotional activities & primary visibility including solving problems of staff & supermarkets (e.g. shelf space, posm, distribution, planogram...) in order to ensure PICOS objectives are understood & applied.
? Monitor competition activities (inno/reno/promo) and report new product/packaging requirements to brand managers
? Train & coach distributor team in order to ensure they are motivated & capable of performing their roles.

Standards & Regulations:
? Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards.

Projects:
? Plan and supervise the implementation of department's projects (store opening, remodeling, product launch...) to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives.

Organization Structure:
? Recommend an optimum organization structure for the Distributor Sales & Trade Marketing so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
?
Continuous Improvement:
? Stimulate local team and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account 'UAE best practice', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.

Reporting:
? Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Trade Marketing to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards.
?
Health, Safety, & Environment:
? Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
