Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is looking for Static Equipment Engineer to work on the engineering and project management services in AlKhobar office

Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment

Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects including technical specifications, datasheets and requisitions for equipment

Review and verification of equipment supplier's documentation, as well as support during the testing and commissioning of equipment

Management of supplier designs and act as focal point for control of supplier interfaces, including the co-ordination of multi-discipline engineering interfaces

Ensures successful completion of the assigned project/phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints

Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work

Assist with the development of less senior Technical Professionals

Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement

Participate in audits and incident investigations as required

Participate in site visits, project review meetings, design reviews and other workshops as required

Execution of work demonstrating commitment to safety and quality Skills / Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas industry working for an established contractor, operator or consultancy Previous experience in the execution of FEED and EPC Projects Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates Professional level of ability in the application of standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards Company Overview
